I've never marched DCI before, but I have three years of marching experience at Jasper High School with two state finals appearances (unfortunately due to Covid-19 all ISSMA contests were cancelled but nevertheless, my school still performed a show this year). My Freshman year I made the Indiana Junior All-State band as first chair Euphonium.
